For attorneys

We do the document prep. You provide the legal advice.

MyCaseworks is a document-preparation platform that connects international students and immigrants with licensed professionals across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. We handle intake, form preparation, and payment routing. You provide attorney or authorized professional review under your own license and insurance.

Priority recruitment · content review

Expand the named-reviewer program beyond US student status.

The US F-1 / CPT / OPT guide cluster already carries a named California immigration attorney reviewer. We are actively recruiting licensed professionals for independent article review (and case review) in other jurisdictions so UK, Canada, and Australia guides can move off editorial-only labels.

United Kingdom

SRA-regulated solicitors (or other authorized UK immigration professionals) for Student Route, Graduate route, family visas, and student tenancy guides. Independent accuracy review against GOV.UK sources.

Canada

Provincial law-society lawyers and RCICs (within their authorized scope) for study-permit, PGWP, Express Entry, and family-sponsorship procedure guides.

Australia

Registered migration agents / lawyers admitted in Australia for subclass 500, Genuine Student, and Temporary Graduate (485) procedure guides.

Article review is paid for time and independence—not for steering readers to paid services. Case review fees remain separate flat rates below.

Frequently asked

Common questions from attorneys

Is this a fee-splitting arrangement?+

No. Under ABA Model Rule 5.4 and most state-bar rules, a non-lawyer cannot share legal fees with a lawyer. MyCaseworks charges the client a separate flat fee for document preparation; your review fee is paid in full to you, not split. The platform fee and the attorney fee are tracked and disclosed to the client separately.

Is MyCaseworks a law firm?+

No. MyCaseworks is a Delaware limited liability company providing document preparation and technology services. The legal advice in any client engagement comes from a licensed attorney through their own practice. The platform terms of service make this explicit on every engagement letter.

How does payment work?+

When you submit a completed case review, the platform initiates the payout to your linked bank account. Standard timing: 48 hours after submission, deposited via ACH. Stripe takes its standard processing fee from the client charge before payout, not from your fee.

What states do you serve?+

Clients use the platform from across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Each attorney on the panel handles only matters within their jurisdiction or jurisdiction(s) of admission. We route incoming cases to the right attorney based on licensure; you do not handle out-of-jurisdiction matters.

How are conflicts of interest managed?+

Before each case is routed to you, you receive the client's name, email, and case summary. You can decline if there is a conflict; that case routes to another attorney on the panel. The platform does not override your professional judgment on conflicts.

What happens if I want to leave the panel?+

Either party can terminate the contract reviewer agreement with 30 days' written notice. You finish in-progress cases and we route new cases to other attorneys.

Do I need to be a licensed immigration attorney specifically?+

No. We need attorneys across several practice areas: US immigration, UK immigration, Canadian immigration, UK tenancy, US student loan / borrower defense, and business formation for immigrant founders. Canadian panel reviewers may be lawyers or RCICs where the matter fits their authority.

Where do I read the contract terms before applying?+

Use the application form to send your credentials and practice areas. After credential screening, we send the Contract Reviewer Agreement plus a sample case review pack. Standard reply time: 1 business day.
