About
Real legal help, without the law-firm bill.
What MyCaseworks does
MyCaseworks is a document-preparation and attorney-matching platform built for international students and immigrants navigating the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. We prepare the paperwork β visa forms, tenancy reviews, sponsorship packets β and a licensed attorney reviews it before you file.
We charge flat fees that are a fraction of traditional hourly legal billing. The legal advice in any MyCaseworks service comes from a licensed attorney through their own practice; MyCaseworks connects you with that attorney and handles the workflow, secure document portal, and payment.
MyCaseworks is a sister site of YouSafe Consultancy, which has placed 500+ international students across 30+ countries.
How the service works
Every matter begins with a structured intake. You answer questions about your situation β country, visa type, deadlines, and concerns. Our system turns your answers into a completed document set, organized and formatted for the relevant government office or court. A licensed attorney then reviews the packet, flags risks, and returns it with comments. You can ask follow-up questions through the secure portal before you file.
We do not guarantee outcomes. Immigration and tenancy outcomes depend on government discretion, facts we do not control, and changes in law. What we do guarantee is thorough preparation, attorney review, and clear communication about what we found.
Who reviews the documents
For US student-status and work-authorisation guides, MyCaseworks works with Denise Platter Cabrera, Esq. (CA Bar #298948; Law Office of Denise P. Cabrera). She independently reviews F-1, CPT, OPT, and STEM OPT procedure articles for legal accuracy. Review is paid for time, not for outcomes or for steering readers toward paid services. See her firm site.
Reviewer programs for UK matters (SRA-regulated solicitors) and Canadian matters (provincial law-society lawyers) are under development. Until those programs launch, UK and Canada articles are clearly labelled "Editorial-only" at the byline. We do not present unlicensed staff as counsel of record.
Document preparation is handled by trained staff; legal review and advice on a client matter come only from the licensed attorney assigned through the platform when you book a review tier that includes attorney work.
Our editorial standards
Guides are written by subject-matter researchers from primary sources (statute, regulation, and government guidance). US student-visa cluster articles carry a named attorney reviewer where the program is live; other jurisdictions use an Editorial-only label until attorney review is assigned. We date every article and revisit it when underlying rules change. If you spot an error, see our corrections policy.
We do not accept payment for placement in articles, nor do we let advertisers influence editorial content. Affiliate links, if any, are disclosed inline.
