Authors & Reviewers

MyCaseworks publishes source-backed immigration, student-status, and settlement guides. Who wrote or reviewed a page is stated in the byline — we do not invent named experts or claim licensed review where the panel is not live.

Review status by jurisdiction

Indexable procedure pages always show either a named reviewing attorney or an Editorial-only label. Regional campus sites (usa / ca / uk hosts) own journey logistics; this legal host owns form-level procedure.

  • United States

    Attorney-reviewed (student-status track)

Named California immigration attorney reviews student-visa and work-authorisation procedure content. Family, asylum, and non-student tracks may still show Editorial until expanded panel coverage.

  • United Kingdom

    Editorial-only

Student Route, Graduate Route, Skilled Worker, and tenancy guides cite GOV.UK primary sources. A named solicitor content-review program is recruiting; bylines stay honest until then.

  • Canada

    Editorial-only

Study permit, PGWP, Express Entry, and family sponsorship guides cite IRCC. Named Canadian lawyer / RCIC review is in recruitment; content is not presented as lawyer- or RCIC-reviewed.

  • Australia

    Editorial-only

Subclass 500 and Temporary Graduate (485) procedure cites Home Affairs. No Australian migration-agent review program is live yet.

Editorial standards

  • Prefer primary government sources (USCIS, SEVP, GOV.UK, IRCC, Home Affairs) over secondary blogs.
  • Flag fee, form edition, salary threshold, and funds numbers as live rules the reader must re-check on the official page before filing.
  • Never publish a named attorney byline without bar verification and written permission to attribute.
  • Distinguish document preparation and educational guides from legal advice; no attorney–client relationship is formed by reading free content.
  • Corrections are handled under the corrections policy; methodology under the editorial policy.

Why some pages still say Editorial-only

An Editorial-only byline means the guide is researched from primary sources and published by the MyCaseworks team, not that the topic is unimportant. It means a publicly named licensed reviewer for that jurisdiction has not yet authorised attribution. We would rather under-claim review than over-claim E-E-A-T.

Licensed solicitors, Canadian lawyers/RCICs, and Australian migration agents interested in content review can apply via attorney panel onboarding or read For attorneys.
